AI Alloy integrated into AM-DT, marking a new era of intelligent alloy design

Published on Mar 4, 2026

[Singapore, March 4, 2026] SynaCore, a leader in digital twin technology, announced that its AI Alloy intelligent alloy design module has been officially integrated into the AM-DT digital twin software platform. Leveraging AI-driven computational materials science, the system converts the traditional alloy R&D process, long dominated by repeated experimentation, into a high-precision and lower-cost digital prediction workflow.

Bid Farewell to the Trial-and-Error Era

Traditional alloy development depends heavily on physical experimentation and accumulated know-how, which drives long development cycles, high test costs, and substantial consumption of raw materials and energy. Deeply integrated into the AM-DT digital twin, SynaCore AI Alloy applies machine learning to calculate the material property inputs required by AM-DT's process-performance models, enabling accurate virtual evaluation of previously unseen alloys while reducing experimental burden.

Core Technology Breakthroughs

The AI Alloy module integrated within the SynaCore AM-DT platform brings two core capabilities:

"AI Alloy is not merely a tool; it represents a fundamental paradigm shift in materials R&D," said Dr. Guglielmo Vastola, Chief Technology Officer of SynaCore. "By combining the predictive speed of artificial intelligence with AM-DT's deeply integrated multiscale models, scientists can identify optimal solutions from a vast design space instead of relying on repeated laboratory trial-and-error. This is a milestone for sectors with extremely demanding material requirements, including aerospace, new energy vehicles, and high-end equipment manufacturing."

Empowering the Advanced Manufacturing Ecosystem

With AI Alloy now online, the SynaCore AM-DT platform covers a full-chain digital twin workflow spanning materials design, distortion compensation, process optimization through Adaptive ToolPath, microstructure prediction, and heat treatment prediction. This broader stack is intended to accelerate both new-material commercialization and the industrialization of additive manufacturing.

Starting from TCT Asia 2026, held on March 16-19, SynaCore has been accepting trial applications through its web platform at www.synacore.net.
